The Game

Lizzie had the strangest dream. She was walking down a dark alley at night, and it was pitch dark. A shadow moved in the fog beneath her feet. A raven pecked at a sign that she couldn't read. It lit up in glowing letters; seeming to be a bar. She recognized Emily's voice inside, and thought it was strange. Then she knew as she got close. Emily's neck was punctured by two small marks still fresh with a red substance. Lizzie immediately knew and it made her sick. She turned to the guy sitting next to her and it was Eric. But he wasn't smiling. His eyes were black, and blazing into Emily's. Then as he leaned forward to get closer to his prey Liz wanted to scream to her best friend to get away from him. But she couldn't move, or hear Lizzie before she was bit.

Lizzie sprang up from her bed and knew where Emily had gone. She had to act fast to save her friend. Meanwhile as Emily got closer to Eris, he spun around just as she hid behind a tall tree. She stopped herself from breathing for the moment but was shaking with fear. He sniffed the air and knew he was being followed. Lizzie had almost caught up with Eric, when she saw him dragging her by the arm. He'd hypnotized her, her legs walked roboticly. Not normal! She sprang out and shoved a long piece of wood from her jacket into his cold un-beating heart. He looked at her and Lizzie  realized she hadn't shoved it in all the way. "Take me! Not her!" Lizzie screamed! A grin came to his lips, and then it disappeared. Lizzie jumped in front of his friend. He didn't like a pretty girl stopping him from feeding off of his prey. Emily slumped to the ground unconscious, but still breathing. Eric pulled the wood out from his chest. He drew in the pretty girl's scent, unlike her friend's. ?Hers was mouth watering. He made a decision to change the game around a little. He'd let the girl's  friend go, since this girl was so much more satisfying. "He move so fast that Lizzie's vision blurred. She struck him only to be lured deeper into his mind. She was paralyzed. Emily waking up screamed. But Eric already wiped her memory clean of everything she witnessed. She slumped back to the ground. Lizzie was mad as hell! He focused on her again and with one look, she was being controlled by his Power. All she could do was follow him. Well at least Emily would be safe, she thought.

Lizzie Meets Eric the Vampire

Once there was a extraordinary women named Elizabeth, although she preferred Lizzie, who was could read minds of everyone she met. She found it hard to make friends when they all thought she was a freak. Her parents didn't understand her rare gift. But they loved her anyways. Her friend Emily thought it was cool what she could do. Lizzie was walking home with her from school one sunny day when they ran into Eric from school. As Lizzie avoided his eyes his whole life story poured into her head like lava. Every memory burned into her retina like she was experiences what she saw. Emily caught her friend as she was about to fall on the cement. Lizzie opened her eyes and saw blue ones looking down at her curiously. "You look like you fell from heaven". Lizzie blushed a deep scarlet. She realized what he was instantly. He'd been around very long; different from a human life span. She could taste his thirst and it was for her. Emily asked,"Are you OK?" Eric still looked on and then shifted his gaze to her friend. He was looking at her with the same hunger, but less than he had for Lizzie. She said," I know what you are", and left as gracelessly as she came. Her head was pounding! she could feel everything he felt, taste what he tasted, and hunger what he desired. She knew enough that he was a vampire and if she didn't stay away from him she'd become one herself. Emily asked, What's wrong? He was totally cute. He wouldn't stop staring at you!" "I think he's not a good person to be around, Em." Lizzie replied. "He's different!" " Oh, it's the mind reading again, isn't it? Did you see something horrible?"  Emily begged of Lizzie. "Yes" she said but when Emily begged for more, she wouldn't say anything. Emily gave up, knowing Lizzie had her reason for not telling certain things. She trusted Lizzie. But part of her was wondering what could be so bad about this boy from their school. When Lizzie took a nap, Emily walked out of the house to find out.
