Bill and George

Once there was a man named George who lived in the mountains of Montana. He was a wanderer; scoping out different and unique places. He loved Yellowstone Park. He'd spend hours there with the wild animals. He and his lovely wife Kitty Sue built a hut nearby. One day when Kitty Sue was gathering roots for the harvest she stumbled upon a buffalo. And up on it's back was George. At first she wanted to yank him off; horrified. But he reassured her things were OK. The buffalo's name was Bill. "I saved his life," George proclaimed, " and look he's also potty trained. Now, Kitty Sue wasn't happy about letting Bill come into the house and sit with them at the table, but she did whatever pleased her husband. Bill loved spaghetti, he'd be wearing it all over his face until George would take him outside and give him a bath in the lake. George loved his friend, Bill. And when they'd take walks together he'd talk to Bill and tell him all the stories he knew. " Bill became so well educated that that he started to speak in the human tongue. The only thing Kitty Sue disapproved of was "May I use your toilet?" So Kitty Sue scrubbed the house all day while George and Bill were at play. Now Bill realized that the other Buffalo weren't like him, which made him sad. He spoke to George about it. George was reluctant to send him back into the wild, but Kitty Sue kindly urged him that it was best for Bill. Finally George said he would take him back. As they walked through to woods Bill was silent. When he saw the other Buffalo he broke the ice, and said, " George, don't mourn my leaving. I am going to be with my kind again. Maybe this isn't the last you'll see of me." George nodded, as Bill walked over to a female. As he did he looked back once more at George with a twinkle in his eye, and waved.
